The Sentinel AIQ/AIQ+ receives power from the solar panel attached to the top of the system. The Solar Panel is mounted to allow optimum sun exposure. In the event of poor weather, the system will convert power draw to batteries inside the battery box located underneath the solar panel until direct sunlight is reestablished. In the event sun exposure is not available for several days, the system will “sleep” before batteries reach a critical level that could cause damage. The system will remain in “sleep” mode until sunlight occurs again. The solar panel also provides power to our patented DC Power Supply that distributes power throughout the DC Power Hub. Within the DC Power Hub, is our advanced communication device collecting telemetry metrics that syncs to a cloud interface for real time data viewing. As well as our one-of-a-kind power interface board allows real-time system functionality.
