We are excited to announce a significant update to our alert system, designed to make monitoring your units easier and more user-friendly.
What's New?
Our alert system has been simplified to ensure you receive the essential notifications without the hassle of complex settings. Here’s how the new system works:
- Simplified Alert Activation: Simply go to your dashboard and click the switch to receive alerts for your units.
- Initial Setup: The first time you set up your alerts, you will be prompted to consent to receive messages and choose your preferred method of notification (email or text message).
- Consistent Reporting: You will now receive alerts when your unit is not reporting, ensuring you stay informed about the status of your equipment.
- Preference Management: Change your notification preferences anytime in your account settings.
- Alert Frequency: To avoid overwhelming you with notifications, you will receive a maximum of 4 alerts per alert set in a 24-hour period.
Why the Change?
Previously, alerts were set based on specific parameters reported by the unit or if the unit didn’t report at all. This new approach drastically simplifies the process, making it easier for you to stay informed without the need for detailed configurations.
How to Set Up Your Alerts:
- Log in to your WaterIQ Technologies dashboard.
- Navigate to your unit settings and click the checkbox or switch to enable alerts.
3. Follow the prompt to set your notification preferences and provide your consent.
4. Adjust your preferences anytime from your account settings.
